A nice stretch of the Mad River, below Gryphon Park and free from Wharf Rats. The Promenade filled with trendy shops, posh restaurants, art galleries and family-friendly entertainment. Uptown clientele and business owners seem to pointedly ignore this district's proximity to the Scandal and Riverside districts.

Run by wealthy art "experts", this is where the respectable
folks of Bordertown come for their art appreciation. To be
honest, most Soho folks will find the stuff here dry,
conservative and not that different than mainstream art
found in World and Realm. The curators claim they aren't
racist, but they still won't hang halfie stuff.

Oh capitalism. It really does reach everywhere. Yes, even
Bordertown has a Hilton. We're not sure if this is actually
sanctioned by the Hiltons, or if it was an abandoned and
revamped and the owners decided to keep the name.
Whatever the case, the Hilton is nice, ritzy and it has little
tolerance for waifs without money coming up from Soho
and the World.

Silver's Scones and Sundries
Proprietor Hal Silver runs an oddities shop slash café a stone's throw away from the edge of the river. Hal's shop is an excellent place to stop in whether you're looking for a new hat, a spare spellbox, or something a bit more exotic. The café portion of the business offers patrons tea, sandwiches, cookies, and other light fare for reasonable prices. It's rumored that a lot of the junk on Hal's shelves is magical in one way or another, and Hal himself is an enthusiast in all things wondrous and arcane.
